Raman LIDAR Sensor synergy

Raman lidars do not provide an absolute value of the measured quantitiy, but rather need to be calibrated with external measurements. Hence, a Raman profile is most often a synergy between different observation methods. Instrument synergies between Raman lidar and other remote sensing systems are described in the following references:
